Level 3 – Independent Course
Overview
The Level 3 Indepent Course aims to produce a competent and independent kiteboarder. If you have taken your Level 2 Intermediate course with us or any other IKO kite school, you can continue your progression with the Level 3 course.
You should already be able to waterstart and ride in both directions at this point. The Level 3 course will fine tune your riding, focusing on your riding stance, transitions (changing directions without stopping) and riding upwind. You’ll improve your board and kite control – and some students with great maneuvering skills may even start to try small jumps.
If you feel you are decided and want to pursue kiteboarding, we recommend doing the Full Three-day Kiteboarding Course (Level 1-3) to get your IKO Certification, which will allow you to rent equipment and kitesurf at kite destinations around the world.
