KITEBOARDING SCHOOL

One of the first kiteboarding schools on Boracay, Habagat Kiteboarding Center is an International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) Kite Center and has long been a home to kitesurfers, and a place where many have started their kiteboarding journeys.

Situated right on Bulabog Beach (Boracay’s Kite Beach), our guests are just footsteps away from the water!

We offer private kiteboarding lessons with IKO certified instructors.

W offer equipment rental, storage, and accommodation right on kite beach, so you are the closest to the water when the wind blows and the conditions are perfect.

Habagat is under German management and obliges with German standards, no less.

KITESURFING BORACAY

One of the most famous kite destinations in Asia, Boracay Island is truly a kitesurfer’s paradise. Bulabog Beach is the main kiteboarding beach on Boracay, spanning over 1.5 kilometers long. An outer reef spans the length of the beach, which breaks the larger ocean swell, creating a massive chest-deep flat-water lagoon, which is ideal for beginners learning the sport and advanced kitesurfers looking to work on new tricks.

WIND IN BORACAY

The main kite season is during the northwest monsoon (Amihan), which spans from November through to late March, with the strongest wind between December and February. Typically winds will range between 15-25 knots during the season. During the southwest monsoon (Habagat) – kitesurfing moves to Boracay’s White Beach – which is a four-kilometer stretch of white sand. There isnt an outer reef, so conidions are usually choppy – but a welcome challenge for seasoned kiters.

KITE RENTAL & STORAGE

For certified kiteboarders looking to pack light on their kite holiday, Habagat Kiteboarding Center offers a selection of CORE and NORTH kiteboarding equipment for rent. You can choose to rent kites to complete your quiver on the lightwind or howling days, or rent a complete set from head to toe.

You can also choose to store your kite equipment with us at Habagat Kite Center, so that all your gear is stored securely right on the beach and ready for when the conditions are perfect. Equipment storage includes a caddie to set up and pack down your gear, and to help with launching and landing your kites.
